Why does everyone consider Depp a Kentuckian? He moved to Florida when he was six and was raised there. My older brother came to Florida from New Jersey when he was six and he doesn't consider himself Jersey raised, though he'd like to. Florida is a pit.
Johnny himself has said he is a Kentuckian, not much is ever mentioned about Miramar except school stuff and that they moved alot. He has also mentioned on Inside The Actors Studio that the Depps have been in Kentucky for years and years-that's why we call him a "Kentuckian". Does that help?
I live in Sarasota Florida and know someone who went to high school with Johnny in Miramar. But home is where the heart is and if it's Kentucky for him...that's that
